In the first week of April, the area around Rugby School was full of beautiful cherry blossoms. To enjoy the season, we took the children on a spring walk to see the cherry trees up close.
4月の最初の週、ラグビースクールの周りは美しい桜でいっぱいになりました。春の季節を楽しむために、子どもたちと一緒に桜を間近で見る春のお散歩に出かけました。
As we walked, the children were excited to spot the cherry blossoms. Many pointed and said, “Look, cherry blossoms!” Their smiles and excitement made the walk very special. It was a great way for them to enjoy nature and see the changes that spring brings.
歩きながら、子どもたちは桜を見つけてとても嬉しそうにしていました。多くの子が指をさしながら「見て、桜だよ！」と声を上げていました。子どもたちの笑顔とわくわくした様子が、特別な時間をさらに素敵なものにしてくれました。自然を楽しみ、春の変化を感じる素晴らしい機会となりました。
The children also showed how much they have learned. Some noticed that not all the flowers were the same. They proudly pointed out the white flowers and said they were apple blossoms. We were so happy to see their careful observations.
また、子どもたちは学んだことをしっかりと覚えていました。中には、すべての花が同じではないことに気づき、白い花を指して「これはリンゴの花だよ」と教えてくれる子もいました。子どもたちの細やかな観察力にとても感動しました。
While walking, the children loved picking up the soft petals that had fallen to the ground. They touched the petals gently and talked about how soft they felt. Exploring nature with their senses helped make the day even more fun and meaningful.
散歩の途中、子どもたちは地面に落ちた柔らかい花びらを拾うのも楽しんでいました。花びらをそっと触って「ふわふわしているね」と話し合う姿も見られました。五感を使って自然にふれることで、さらに楽しく、意味のある一日になりました。
Our cherry blossom walk around Rugby School was a wonderful way to enjoy nature, learn new things, and celebrate the beauty of spring. We look forward to more outdoor adventures with the children as the seasons change.
ラグビースクール周辺でのお花見は、自然を楽しみながら新しいことを学び、春の美しさを祝う素晴らしい体験となりました。これからも季節の変化を感じながら、子どもたちとたくさんの屋外活動を楽しみにしています。
