英語で過ごす夏。遊びながら「表現する力」を育てる1か月
Beyondia International School Kashiwanohaでは、この夏、3〜5歳児を対象とした探究型のSummer Schoolを開催します。
本プログラムでは、国際バカロレア（IB）PYPのテーマ「How We Express Ourselves」をもとに、Artや自然素材、音、動きなど、さまざまな方法で「自分らしさを表現する体験」を広げていきます。毎週異なるテーマに沿ったアクティビティで、子どもたちの想像力・発見力・発信力を育てます。
Program Overview
- 期間：2025年7月30日（水）〜8月29日（金）*平日のみ
- 8月12日（火）〜15日（金）は特別保育期間となるため、2,000円／日の追加料金がかかります。この期間は夏をテーマにした特別カリキュラムとなります。
- 対象年齢：3歳児〜5歳児（年少〜年長）

折り紙や切り紙を通して、形とリズムを楽しもう - Special Week（8/12〜8/15）：Summer Celebration
水や氷、夏らしい素材を使った特別活動 - Week 3（8/18〜8/22）：Tools and Texture
ひも・アルミホイル・歯ブラシなど、道具と素材で五感表現にチャレンジ - Week 4（8/25〜8/29）：Inspired by Nature
葉っぱ・石・果物など、自然の素材からインスピレーションを得て制作

※お子さまの様子や天候等により、柔軟に変更されます。
※「Inquiry（インクワイアリー）」とは、子どもたちの探究活動や学び、そして遊びを意味する言葉です。
幼児期は、遊びを通して学ぶことが最も効果的な時期。楽しい！やってみたい！という気持ちが、子どもたちの興味や関心を引き出し、自ら学ぶ力を育てていきます。
Beyondiaでは、その「遊び＝学び」のプロセスを大切にし、子どもたちが主体的に関われる環境づくりを心がけています。

A month of expression through play and inquiry – in an international environment!
This summer, Beyondia International School Kashiwanoha is excited to offer an inquiry-based Summer School program for children aged 3 to 5.
Rooted in the International Baccalaureate (IB) PYP theme “How We Express Ourselves”, this program invites children to explore their own ways of expression through art, natural materials, sound, and movement.
Each week brings a new theme, helping children develop their imagination, curiosity, and confidence to communicate their ideas.
Program Overview
- Period: July 30 (Wed) – August 29 (Fri), 2025 *Weekdays only
August 12–15 is a special summer week. An additional fee of ¥2,000/day applies during this period. - Age: 3–6 years old (Kinder class level in Japan)

- Build creativity and spatial awareness with origami and shape-based play.

- Inspired by Nature: Leaves, Fruits, and Rocks
- Use leaves, stones, and fruits to explore the beauty of nature through art.
Tuition & Details
- Half Day (9:00–14:00): ¥8,500/day
- Full Day (9:00–17:00): ¥13,000/day
- Admission Fee: ¥12,000 (first-time only)
- Extended Care: ¥750 per 30 minutes (advance reservation required)

What is “Inquiry”?
“Inquiry” refers to the process of learning through exploration, questioning, and discovery—especially through play.
Early childhood is the most powerful stage for learning through play.
When children feel joy, curiosity, and a desire to “try it themselves,” they naturally become active learners.
At Beyondia, we believe that play and learning are one and the same, and we provide an environment where children can take the lead in their own development.
