As part of our Hinamatsuri celebrations, the children had a wonderful time engaging in various activities that helped them learn about this special festival. We began by watching a Hinamatsuri video and singing Hinamatsuri songs in both English and Japanese. The kids truly enjoyed the experience, singing and dancing with excitement while embracing the festive spirit.

These included coloring, cutting and pasting, spot-the-difference exercises, and English vocabulary practice related to Hinamatsuri. Each activity provided the children with an opportunity to explore different aspects of the festival while developing their fine motor and language skills.

To wrap up the day, we played a Hinamatsuri matching game, reinforcing what they had learned in a fun and interactive way. Additionally, the children created Hinamatsuri crafts and enjoyed reading storybooks related to the festival. Through these activities, they gained a deeper understanding of Hinamatsuri while having a memorable and enjoyable learning experience.
