Nursery and Pre Class Fun

On the Nursery and Pre side, the children made their own sleeping masks and enjoyed wearing them throughout the day. As soon as they received their masks, their faces lit up with joy. Everyone seemed so proud and happy to wear something they had made themselves.

ナーサリーとプリクラスでは、子どもたちが自分だけのアイマスクを作り、一日中楽しんで身に着けました。マスクを手にした瞬間、みんなの顔が喜びで輝き、自分の作ったものを身につけることに誇りと楽しさを感じている様子でした。

After snack time, we had a lively play session. The children enjoyed playing with balloons, pushing and riding toy trains, and even had a fun dance party. The song Sleeping Bunnies was a perfect choice for dancing, and all the children looked absolutely adorable.

おやつの後は、にぎやかな遊びの時間を楽しみました。風船で遊んだり、電車で遊んだり、ダンスパーティーも行いました。「Sleeping Bunnies」に合わせて踊る姿はとても可愛らしかったです。

In the afternoon, we had a pajama decorating activity. The Nursery class kept it simple, using paper tape to decorate their pajamas and choosing whichever colors they liked. The results looked fantastic! The Pre class had a little more challenge, using glue sticks and selecting felt shapes to decorate specific areas of their pajamas. They are becoming very skilled at applying glue precisely and carefully placing decorations, showing how much they are growing and learning every day.

午後は「パジャマデコレーション」のアクティビティを楽しみました。
ナーサリークラスのお友だちは、紙のテープを使って自分の好きな色でシンプルに飾りつけ♪ それぞれの個性が出て、とってもすてきなパジャマができました！
プリクラスでは、少しレベルアップ！スティックのりを使って、フェルトの形をパジャマのいろいろなところに貼りつけました。のりの使い方もとても上手になり、飾りを丁寧に貼る姿に子どもたちの成長を感じました。毎日少しずつ、できることが増えています。

Kinder Class Fun

In the Kinder side, the children started the day with morning crafts In the morning, we started our inquiry time with crafts. K2 and K3 children made beautiful dream catchers by decorating paper plates and adding yarn, feathers, and beads. Each child showed amazing creativity while choosing and combining their materials.

Kinderクラスでは、朝の時間にクラフト活動から一日をスタートしました。K2とK3の子どもたちは、紙皿に毛糸や羽、ビーズを使って美しいドリームキャッチャーを作りました。それぞれの子どもが、自分で材料を選び、組み合わせながら素晴らしい創造力を発揮していました。

Exploring Light with Night Sky Bottles/ 光を探る ギャラクシーセンサリーボトル
We connected this activity to our IB theme, How the World Works, focusing on light. The Kinder friends created night sky bottles filled with colors and glitter. By shining torches on the bottles and placing them on the light table, they explored how light reflects and moves. The children were fascinated by the sparkling effects and enjoyed experimenting in a playful way.

この活動は、IBテーマ「How the World Works」の「光」に関連させました。Kinderの子どもたちは、色やラメを入れたギャラクシーセンサリーボトルを作りました。ライトを当てたり、光のテーブルに置いたりすることで、光が反射したり動いたりする様子を観察しました。キラキラ光る様子に子どもたちは夢中になり、楽しみながら実験をしていました。

Afternoon Games and Crafts/ 午後のゲームと工作
In the afternoon, the Kinder class joined in exciting themed games. The children were divided into two teams for a pillow-passing game, first passing the pillow over their heads and then under their legs. Everyone was full of energy and enjoyed cheering on their friends. After the games, they completed a pajama-themed craft, coloring blank pajama designs to match the ones they were wearing.

午後は、Kinderクラス全員でテーマに沿った楽しいゲームをしました。子どもたちは二つのチームに分かれ、枕を頭の上でパスしたり、足の下でパスしたりするゲームを行いました。みんな元気いっぱいで、友達を応援しながら楽しんでいました。ゲームの後は、パジャマをテーマにした工作を行い、自分の着ているパジャマと同じデザインに塗り絵をして、顔を貼って完成させました。

It was a delightful day filled with creativity, curiosity, and teamwork. The children enjoyed expressing themselves through crafts, games, and playful exploration of light, making wonderful memories together.
