Today marked the exciting first day of our Winter Program, filled with laughter, learning, and festive cheer. We were thrilled to welcome Beyondia friends alongside some wonderful visitors. It was heartwarming to see new connections being made and familiar faces returning.
We began the day with a delightful snack to fuel the fun ahead. The Hello Song set a cheerful tone as the children sang with enthusiasm and expressive actions. During the Morning Circle, our guests actively participated by sticking answers on the board. Though a few were shy at first, everyone quickly warmed up and did an amazing job. The ABC song, sung with the help of flashcards, added an educational twist, helping the children strengthen their letter recognition.
The festive spirit came alive when we handed out shakers and bells for a group rendition of Jingle Bells. The sound of music and laughter filled the room, creating a memorable moment for all.
Later, we divided into two groups. One group enjoyed exploring books in the library or unleashing their energy in the piano room, which had been transformed into an exciting play zone for running, crawling, and climbing. Meanwhile, the other group stayed at the tables to craft beautiful Santa ornaments for the Christmas tree. Each ornament reflected the children’s creativity and unique style, making them truly special.
To wrap up the day, everyone came together to sing the Goodbye Song, closing our first day on a high note. The children’s smiles and enthusiasm set the perfect tone for the days ahead.
We look forward to continuing this wonderful Winter Program adventure tomorrow!
