Highlights from Our Tunnel Activity
トンネル遊びのハイライト
One of the most exciting moments during playtime this week was the tunnel activity. Children lined up patiently, waiting for their turn to crawl through. While waiting, they practiced important social skills such as patience, taking turns, and following instructions.
今週のプレイタイムで特に盛り上がったのは、トンネル遊びです。子どもたちは順番を待ちながら並び、忍耐力や順番を守る力、指示に従う力など、重要な社会性を自然に身につけました。
As each child crawled through the tunnel, laughter and excitement filled the room. Some friends joined the teacher in cheering “Go, go!” to encourage classmates. This joyful moment helped children learn empathy, cooperation, and how to celebrate others’ success.
子どもたちがトンネルをくぐるたびに、笑い声と歓声が教室に広がりました。友だちの中には、先生と一緒に「ゴー！ゴー！」と応援する子もいました。この楽しい経験を通して、子どもたちは共感や協力の大切さ、そして友だちの成功を喜ぶ気持ちを学びました。

The tunnel activity may seem simple, but it provides rich learning opportunities. Crawling and balancing help develop gross motor skills, while waiting for turns and cheering for friends nurtures social and emotional growth.
