Recently, our kindergarten class embarked on a captivating journey into the world of light.
What started as a few simple questions about light and shadows evolved into a multifaceted exploration.
To engage the children in the exploration of light, we got hands-on. One of the first activities involved creating shadow puppets. The children enthusiastically crafted their own puppets and, with the aid of a flashlight, were amazed to see their creations come to life on the wall.
Next, we added wooden blocks and transparent shapes to create an environment for our puppets.
The children’s creations really came to life in the shadows when they combined their puppets for some dramatic play!
